The book of Jude was among the controversial books, it was disputed by Origen and Eusibius. The dispute arises on the ground of its lack of apostolic authorship, its shortness, its polemic character and its alleged reference to apocryphal literatures. But no book in the New Testament has ever exposed God’s attitude towards apostasy than the book of Jude.
It shows God’s attitude to the Israelite apostasy, the angelic apostasy and the pagan (Sodom and Gomorrah) apostasy. God’s unchanging attitude to apostasy in judgment, whether in the past or present. This is what the course intends to intimate the students with.
